Actor Rajesh Vivek, who is best remembered for his role of Guran in the superhit film Lagaan, died of a heart attack on Thursday in Hyderabad. He was 66.
Rajesh made his debut in Bollywood with the much-talked-about Shyam Benegal movie Junoon. His unique acting style and dialogue delivery helped him create a niche in the movie industry. He made a mark in a number of negative roles, the most notable being that of a dacoit in Bandit Queen.
The theatre actor has been part of hit films like Swades and Bunty Aur Babli. He has also acted in popular TV shows like Mahabharata, Bharat Ek Khoj and Aghori.
