How Twitter reacted to Stuart Broad’s 8-wicket haul that dismissed Australia on 60
The Australian cricket team had one of their worst outings in recent times when they were dismissed on a humiliating total of 60 against a fired up England side on the first day of the crucial fourth Test of the 2015 Ashes series.
The singular force that struck Australia down was home boy Stuart Broad, who took a historic 8-15, breaking a series of notable records in the space of just a couple of hours.
Cricket Australia was kind enough to list it down for us.
The scorecard told a woeful story as extras made the highest individual contribution of 14. Only two Aussies managed to reach double digits while three of them couldn’t break a duck.
The morning session took Twitter by storm as cricket fans around the world reacted to Australia’s dismal collapse and Broad and England’s sheer domination. Here are a few notable reactions.
